About

Mark is a proven entrepreneurial veteran with over 18 years experience developing and bringing new media formats to market. Currently, he serves as Chief Operating Officer for AnchorFree – a platform integrating privacy and advertising to mobile users, globally. In this role, he directs business development, advertising sales, and platform strategy. During his tenure, he has developed and brought to market emerging ad formats, and secured global distribution, syndication, and advertiser relationships. He has developed user acquisition to 5 million customers per month; generating nearly a half-billion page views per month; and represented in over 190 countries, globally. Prior, in the late 1990s he co-founded MyPoints.com which revolutionized how direct marketers transformed their performance marketing business models from off-line to on-line. MyPoints.com successfully entered the public markets, achieved one of the most trafficked on-line shopping destinations for several years running, and exists today as profitable membership marketing destination on-line. While there, Mark ran technology and operations, and served as a Board member. Mark has also served in a variety of management consulting roles. For KPMG he worked with Pacific Gas & Electric to streamline customer relationship marketing operations in the wake of government deregulation. And, as a two time veteran of Oracle Corporation, he has sold and managed a variety of enterprise systems implementation efforts in Financial Services (Visa International), Telecommunications (Nokia), Insurance (NationWide, ABI), and government contracts (state of FL and LA). Additionally, Mark has served in a variety of roles within marketing agencies and CRM consultancies. He has developed customer loyalty programs and strategies (consumer and channel) for companies including Sun, HP, Novell, Safeco Insurance, and Sony Playstation. Mark is also an avid wine enthusiast and owns Longfellow Wine Cellars, in Napa, CA.
