I am looking for a job in Washington D.C. | 0 replies since May 22, 2008, 01:27 PM updated May 22, 2008, 01:29 PM
Todd Palmer: Hello, I am the current Director of Business Development and Advertising (also a minority partner) for www.PureVolume.com. I have worked at PureVolume for a few years but I am now looking for a new challenge in the Washington D.C. area. My wife just finished her Ph.D. and we need to relocate for her career. While I was at the helm of Business Development and Advertising at PureVolume.com, the site became one of the premier destinations for the discovery of emerging musicians. I have increased our revenue 100%, year over year, by leveraging our extensive traffic and influential audience, design, brand recognition, targeting options, custom capabilities and creative campaign conceptualization. I built, trained and managed an ad sales team (consisting of designers, programmers, sales representatives, ad operations, traffickers, and account managers, etc.) from the ground up. The result was a significant increase in online advertising sales and off-line sponsorships. My orchestration of extremely successful feature partnerships with Live Nation and the four major record labels, as well as a slew of large music festival ventures, also led to an increase in traffic and brand awareness. Our website's traffic roughly doubled from 2.6 million unique visitors in 2005 to 4.3 million unique visitors in 2007. Does anyone out there know of any job prospects or agencies where I might fit in well? I can be reached at toddpalmer87@gmail.com Best regards, -- Todd Palmer Virb Inc.
