Friends share. And I think you're all probably niiiice and close since your captivity ... I mean summit on Captiva Island! Take a couple of breaths and complete this survey if you haven't already. Your opinion really is important to us and it helps to shape future events!

Also, you can see a bucket full of photos in the SISummit Flickr photo pool

SEO is like God!!! | 1 replies since May 20, 2008, 05:07 PM updated May 21, 2008, 03:55 PM
Jenn Mathews: During our round table discussion today about how search influences other media I mentioned how I used to tell others in the different departments at Classmates.com that "SEO is like God". It is in everything you do and as in-house SEO's it is up to us to encourage other departments to get excited about search, not to mention that other departments can learn from it. From copywriters thinking about what people search as they are writing, how designers think about the person coming to a page from a search key phrase, or even how PR can benefit knowing what the latest search trend is as they are generating brand awareness... Search is everywhere and is influencing other media. Jenn

Pooling isn't just for standing water | 0 replies since May 19, 2008, 12:56 PM updated May 19, 2008, 12:57 PM
Kelly Samardak: It's for photos! If you're already on Flickr and that's your prefered photo sharing community, add your photos to the SISummit pool! It's super easy! Just:
* Login to Flickr like you normally would
* Go to the link above for SISummit pool and join the group * Upload your photos to your Flickr account like you normally would
* Select your newly uploaded SISummit photos in the orgaize your photos window
* grab the "Batch edit" drop down menu and select "send to group"
Done!
Otherwise, feel free to drop your photos into your MediaPost Profile and follow the directions to add to this group!

Options are good :-)

I have to attend an event tonight to cover for Just an Online Minute. And it's COLD. It's sunny and gorgeous and about 55 degrees :-( I bought the cutest dress to wear and it's going to be too chilly. So, I'm saying -- you guys must be so happy and warm!

How do people dress for the event? | 0 replies since May 16, 2008, 10:23 AM
Persia Tatar: This question came up in the email group and it may be helpful when you are packing. In general the conference is business casual, the activities of course are whatever you feel most comfortable in. For the dinners, people tend to spiff up a bit, but they are not formal by any means.

Heading to FL Saturday | 1 replies since May 16, 2008, 01:32 AM updated May 19, 2008, 11:08 AM
Jenn Mathews: I should be touching down in the evening - does anyone want to meet up for drinks? I know after a long flight I will probably need one or two. Jenn

What does one do on a beautiful island resort? | 0 replies since May 5, 2008, 10:53 AM
Kelly Samardak:
Don't you love that that is a question you have to worry about answering? So here's the deal - while you're having an intense searchy experience, you'll also have boatloads of fun. Literally! The following things are planned while you're hitting the South Seas Resort:
Day 1
Golf or Boat Ride (shelling on a island)
Day
Golf or Beach Volleyball

and! If you're bringing someone with you - these events welcome that person too - but they have to pay their way for that activity.
Should be fun - and as more details emerge, I'll update this group!
