It's for photos! If you're already on Flickr and that's your prefered photo sharing community, add your photos to the EISummit pool! It's super easy! Just:
* Login to Flickr like you normally would
* Go to the link above for EISummit pool and join the group * Upload your photos to your Flickr account like you normally would
* Select your newly uploaded EISummit photos in the orgaize your photos window
* grab the "Batch edit" drop down menu and select "send to group"
Done!
Otherwise, feel free to drop your photos into your MediaPost Profile and follow the directions to add to this group!

Options are good :-)

Maybe you like lists. Like attendee lists. And you can get the Email Insider Summit attendee list right here!

Get ready for an action packed couple of days | 0 replies since May 21, 2008, 04:10 PM
Kelly Samardak: So we've gotten the dress code down, and you're probably on the island already. The welcome cocktail party is tonight, yay! I wish I could be there with you, but instead, there are secret squirrels planted around the compound...er.. resort, ready to document your every move.

Smile for the camera and get your thoughts untangled because tomorrow you could be featured in the newly revamped and reconstructed Just an Online Minute. It's pretty much where I inject a vial of fun into the veins of the media industry. So be on the lookout...

How do people dress for this event? | 1 replies since May 15, 2008, 03:59 PM updated May 16, 2008, 10:17 AM
Amy Black: Hi Kelly. I'm a first timer. I know how to dress when I'm on the beach, but what about while in the sessions? Can you tell me how people dress for the event. Thanks!

Golfers unite! | 0 replies since May 15, 2008, 03:57 PM
Kelly Samardak:
As a little girl growing up with a corporate dad, who incidentally didn't golf, I always heard stories of people in sales and suits holding major business discussions and sealing super duper deals all over the last nine. Well hey, guess what? At the EIS your first nine is your last nine. Get signed up for the best shotgun golf tourney this side of the equator. It's flippin' 50 bucks, people. Get in on it! Find all activities here!

You didn't think we'd let you sleep, did you? | 2 replies since May 9, 2008, 04:56 PM updated May 12, 2008, 02:04 PM
Kelly Samardak:
Heck no! You're in a beautiful location, which means you have to experience it. And nothing says networking opportunity like dolphins now, does it? Activities sign ups are now available!

Kelly Samardak:
Hey! If you're already Twittering your face off, share your Twitter URL (if you want) so we can all follow each other as the summit approaches and AT the summit. And keep an eye out, I'll be telling you about a great way to sort of cull all EIS specific tweets - on one adorable page. You can currently find mine here

Let's talk about Twitter | 0 replies since May 6, 2008, 02:37 PM
Kelly Samardak:
How many of you use Twitter to share what you're up to with your people? And, if you use it, would you qualify yourself as a sporadic tweeter, occasional tweeter, frequent tweeter, or abusive :-P

I don't know where you are today, but in nyc the sun is shining, the air is somewhat crystal clear, the birds are chirping, and the guy having a bad trip in Union Square was threating people with his backpack.
YOUR trip won't be bad because THAT guy won't be there. I also wanted to let you know that if you are bringing spouses, partners, your pet tarantula, there are some activities planned where your person is more than welcome to attend (however, they do have to pay the set price). Here they are:

Day 1
Golf or Boat Ride (shelling on a island)
Day 2
Golf or Beach Volleyball
As more details emerge, I'll slap them in here!

What to do what to do? | 0 replies since May 2, 2008, 10:33 AM
Kelly Samardak: An attendee asked if there will be any specific events where peoples who are bringing their better half (or at least complimentary half [i like to think of myself as the better half]) can bring them along. I'm looking into it and I'll let you know the scoop!
oh! and welcome to the group! Feel free to ask your questions and share you thoughts through these little discussion threads - it's why we're here.
