World's most expensive luxury real estate markets | 0 replies since Jul 4, 2008, 02:57 AM
Realty Rider: In the world's most expensive property markets, $1.5 million still doesn't go very far despite some softening in real estate prices. How much house can you buy for $1.5 million? Depending on where you look, it might not be very much. Despite global economic concerns, the credit squeeze, and rising commodity prices, properties in the world's most expensive neighborhoods are still commanding ferocious premiums. While $1.5 million in Cleveland or Tampa would probably purchase a substantial house, with four bedrooms, a multicar garage, and maybe even such amenities as a swimming pool and media room, in London's Belgravia or on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue, it would buy you little more than a glorified shoebox. The proximity to the worlds top business centers and a wonderful quality of life has made London the most expensive city for luxury real estate. And since they learned to cook, everyone wants to live there. Price growth is slowing even in Russia with its growing population of oil millionaires. http://realtydigest.blogspot.com/2008/07/worlds-most-expensive-luxury-real.html

Click-Fraud Metrics | 0 replies since Feb 18, 2008, 08:49 AM
Chad Buckendahl: I read w/ interest the recent Media Post article on click-fraud located at http://publications.mediapost.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Articles.showArticle&art_aid=76700&art_type=14. My question for the group is how do you define "click-fraud" in the numbers that you analyze? I define click fraud as a user that clicks more than X times w/out purchasing? Where X equals a number that I believe is excessive. The article indicates click-fraud has risen to 16.6% on paid search campaigns, including those in Google and Yahoo. I have never seen anything close to that percentage based on my definition and am curious if my definition is too loose. Your thoughts?

Dentist Will Again Give Free Care To Needy | 0 replies since Feb 1, 2008, 12:10 AM
Dr. Judy Johnson: New York City Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Judy Johnson founded the Dentalvisits website in 2001 as a technology improvement resource for dentists, and now more than 90,000 medical and dental professionals with expertise in retrieving, interpreting, and applying the results from scientific studies developed in cosmetic and implant dentistry, endodontic and periodontic care, pediatric and prosthodontic care, oral surgery and restorative dentistry, promote overall search engine recognition of public evidence-based medicine by publishing informed decision public health articles to the rapidly accumulating body of research that constitutes our website's education development initiative in communicating the risks, diagnosis and treatment benefits of different clinical courses of action. Ultimately, better dental choices facilitate improvements in patient care at Dental Visits Cosmetic Dentistry Centers. Do you have ten (10) MySpace family members, co-workers, business associates, neighbors, civic, church or gym buddies with really bad teeth, who could benefit immediately from community cosmetic dentistry services? We would love to hear more stories about their overdue cosmetic smile makeovers... Please write to us, submit posts on our comments and tell us their stories! Happily, we'll be managing the responsibility and aggressively funding the treatment for ten thousand (10,000) MySpace smilemakeover models until the expiration date December 31, 2008. MySpace has about 70 million registered users in the United States. Any statistical reference would represent estimates relative to approximately 10 million uninsured health insurance users nationally. At the very least, we believe 500,000 (5% percentile) have untreated dental conditions and therefore anticipate identifying on or before April 7th, 2008, a true sampling estimate of 25,000 potential candidates within the MySpace registered user population. The deadline to complete the initial diagnosis for the 25,000 potential candidates is established for May 19th, 2008. We have decided that our treatment benefit ratio for the different clinical courses of action, be capped at 2 to 5 (40%) candidate applicants or 10,000 community service models, with the provision that all our dentists provide cosmetic treatment records and every patient fully discloses the relavent proceedural content of each visit as a Dr. Johnson's Friends Comment during the year January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. The "SmileMD 160" service mark represents a guaranteed smile makeover because each doctor owns and independently controls the clinical operations at each http://www.dentalvisits.com facility where a professional team of restorative dentists annually contribute community cosmetic dentistry services to make the difference in the everyday life of at least one (1) MySpace friend.

Donna DeClemente: Thanks Sandeep for starting this group. I write a blog called Donna's Promo Talk (www.donnaspromotalk.com) that focuses on interactive promotions for online marketers. I was looking for a place to add my blog in this network, but I haven't seen it yet. So, here's an invite to come over to my blog and read about some of the latest promotional campaigns that I've written about and to leave a comment or two. I get some of my content from media post and if you have a campaign you're working on and would like to share it, please let me know. I would like to include it in my blog as well.

Advertising to Get More Social | 0 replies since Nov 28, 2007, 02:17 PM
Chris Bernard: Hello group, So in a recent article in Mediaweek (http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/current/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003670938) the comment was made by Facebook founder/CEO Mark Zuckerberg that "'This [social ads] is a completely new way of thinking about advertising online,' he claimed - one that signals the end of the mass communication common to the last century. 'Pushing your message out isn't enough anymore. The next 100 years are going to be different, and it starts now.'" The argument is that these sophisticated ad platforms have advanced to the level that it will allow brands to target consumers based on rich profile data in ways unavailable before. Thus driving greater value to the advertiser than other media vehicles. Thoughts? Concerns? Has anyone seen this executed yet on MySpace or Facebook?

Sandeep Gill: Hi all who's joined thus far! I think this new social media platform from MediaPost should be pretty interesting. Personally, I think it'll help increase the usage on MediaPost.com with current users. I can say for myself that I don't go on the site that often other than clicking-thru from the e-mail subscriptions I receive. What are your thoughts on MediaPost's dive into the social media realm?

I find I spend more time online than ever just connecting with people. Although it is good for my business. I did manage to find some connections and investors. Also I don't have much of an operating budget, so while it is time consuming to be online, it is FREE. I like Media Post's dive into the social realm. I would advise that you make sure to monitor the post and comments. Sometimes giving people a forum to speak can be dangerous. Alex http://www.prelude2cinema.com PS. I have a Community of mine at my website- all are welcome
