Diana DeVeaugh-Geiss was educated at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving her B.A. in Communication Studies, with a concentration in Media Studies and Production and a minor in Music, in 2003. She has completed postgraduate coursework in Media and Cultural Studies through UNC's Department of Communication Studies, UNC's School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies. Diana has been granted awards and academic honors for her screenwriting and journalistic works and is an inducted member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association's Honor Society. She has held long-term positions as Supervisor for UNC's House Undergraduate Library and Media Resources Center, Manager of Chapel Hill's Chelsea Theater, and Production Director for the North Carolina Writers' Network. She currently serves as Network Traffic Manager for Research Triangle Park's PBS affiliate, UNC-TV.
