My career objective is to pursue my passion in Mass Media/Communications Research in relation to culture, gender, social structure/dynamism. I aim to investigate the role of Mass Media/Communications in influencing the compelling issues of our time: social/cultural dynamism, imperialism, social structure and its corruption. The study of these issues has been the passion of my intellectual pursuit and my goal is to make them the essence of my work/research. Currently, I am working for an international law firm. Besides, I am assisting an Associate Professor at CSUF and few members of the International Communications Assc. with their research efforts/studies. This assistance provides me with academic research experience, and further knowledge which will help me with my Graduate School applications. Additionally, I am involved with the communications/media planning of two non-profit organizations. Idealism was the key motivation when i took the first step in media career, in journalism field. After a B.A. in Communications/Journalism and a year long employment in a national newspaper, I realized that I did not enjoy the profession of "media" itself, however I was infatuated with its invisible yet strong, compelling power. Thereafter, I immigrated to USA, established my life and started excelling in my career in Media Planning/Strategy. Since I graduated from CSUF, I have been working in the Media/Communications industry. However, soon, I will be exiting the industry in order to pursue my passion in research and I will be preparing my Graduate School applications. In addition to my career passion dedicated to the exploration of "media power", I also am very passionate about nature (camping), literature, and spirituality. I believe the notion of cosmic/social consciousness, thus I spend most of my free time volunteering at the community/culture centers, helping the ones in need.
